greeneyes/tubebender/all who know me, I can’t use my arms. I can’t grow plants or lift anything/can’t comb my hair/can’t get dressed until in the afternoon when I can use arms a little. The last time I posted here, I was going to grow some tomatoes - I can’t grow jack without arms.
MRI on neck and x-rays on shoulders have been done. Orthopedic pain doc has not seen results yet but thinks #5 neck vertebrae has collapsed and mashing on a certain nerve that goes through both shoulders and down arms to hands. He thinks “maybe” he can fix this without surgery - shots into neck - but he hasn’t seen the MRI yet, so not sure that will work.
Living on high mmg pain pills. I finally feel my age 84 - have not felt that age before.
greeneyes, you have also had various pain “things”. Have your shoulders hurt? Anyone had shoulder pain in both arms, wrists hurt with it, too?
I am at the point they can cut off both arms and give me fake ones so I can use my arms. Your shoulders help hold you up. The strain on the shoulders holding you up makes mine hurt. If I lie down, it takes the stress off the shoulders and they don’t hurt. But when I sleep all night, It is monster pain to get out of bed - one uses one’s arms to move in bed and off the bed.
I hope none of you has ever had this and never do.
Sending you a FRmail. My worst pains were the sciatica. I did have to take some heavy pain killers for a while. Also took lots of turmeric, ginger tea, and hot pepper lotions/cremes.
Alternated between cold packs and heat packs. Chiropractor, Med Dr. and Physical Therapy. This was worse than child birth because the pain was great and constant-no let up.
