I'm sorry.
Those are the first two words Phil Mickelson should say publicly Sunday morning after a fitful night of sleep.
I withdraw.
Those are the next words Mickelson should say on his way out of the U.S. Open and into a better and brighter tomorrow.
Mickelson made a mockery of his sport's national championship on his 48th birthday, and he should now do the honorable thing and remove himself from the tournament.
He hit his moving ball out of frustration on the 13th green at Shinnecock Hills, and then told a counterfeit tale about his intent. Mickelson said he took a strategic whack at his rolling putt as it headed downhill to accept the two-stroke penalty rather than risk playing the ball conventionally and taking a score more damaging than the 10 he posted on the par 4.
My other post was not formatted.
Just so you can read properly one of my posts which you said you have already read ....
To: Hebrews 11:6
45-2 was invoked properly. 1-2, disqualification, was not, but should be.
Dude, if 45-2 is invoked you CANNOT INVOKE 1-2!

“Second of all, your blatant lack of knowledge about the rules of golf throughout this post tells me that you may hit a golf ball on a golf course, but that does not make you a golfer. :)”
YOU KEEP SAYING THAT BUT YOU WON’T CITE AN EXAMPLE!
DUDE, BACK IT UP!
“What words would you use if Tiger did it?”
The same.
“Also, butting in doesnt apply on a public forum.”
I used that term because you came into my conversation misrepresenting my post and acting like an arrogant *** making false statements about me.
“What words would you use if Tiger did it?”
What words did you use when Tiger cussed and threw his club into the crowd?
I believe I asked you a question before you tried to turn this around on me.
“I believe I asked you a question”
I answered your question. You didn’t answer mine.

This is a definition of the word “cheat,” from Webster’s Dictionary:
to violate rules dishonestly (as at cards or on an examination.)
I’ll agree to drop the word “rampantly,:” but “cheat” is what Phil did. Or perhaps you know a rule in the Golf Rule Book that says lovable, pudgy golfers with a big grin are allowed to hit the ball like a rubber ball attached to a paddle whenever they choose and for as many times as they choose.
After I read that TexasGator owns this conversation (see post 190) "....you came into my conversation...." , I thought it best that I respond back privately. I didn't include any identifying information about the comments in my private messages, though!
Nuff said.
Anyone have a pick for the Travelers? I like how TPC RH sets up for a highly technical golfer like Bryson de Chambeau, but I can also see the current "grip it and rip it" crowd of young bucks can fare well here, too...it's certainly not the longest stop on the tour. Should be a great tourney to watch no matter who wins.
You sent me a long private reply but not one word to back up your claims.
Please quit misrepresenting my post and acting like an arrogant *** making false statements about me.
" In one post, you call Hebrews 11-6 to task about his confusion about Rule 1-2 (which you cited correctly,"
I am now thoroughly confused since you say I cited the rule correctly but blast me for being ignorant of the rules?
WTF?
As was extended to another on this thread, if you find yourself in North Carolina at some point in time after I am fully cleared by my neurosurgeon and orthopedic surgeon to play, (at least another 3-6 months, unfortunately....okd for a few casual and easy rounds of golf, but nothing hardcore just yet, and no more long-drive....) I am happy to let bygones be bygones and put my money where my mouth is with respect to my golf game. Do come prepared to leave with a lighter wallet, though..... ;)"
Just a reminder that you took the first swing. Am I supposed to ask if you are part of a protected class before defending myself?
OTOH, I accept your courtesy of the invitation but my game is long gone.
“to violate rules dishonestly”
Nope. He didn’t try to deceive.
I have played with guys who brought (2) Fifths of fine whiskey to play 18 holes of golf and we played with our Boss.
He did not drink and after playing 18, it felt like we played 36 holes. We got so "#@$$ Faced" and my boss did not even drink at all.
He never played a round of Golf with us after that fiasco.
_____________
LOL.......... you must have been draggin' around # 14 or so.
You’re boring. Adios.
