This is a definition of the word “cheat,” from Webster’s Dictionary:
to violate rules dishonestly (as at cards or on an examination.)
I’ll agree to drop the word “rampantly,:” but “cheat” is what Phil did. Or perhaps you know a rule in the Golf Rule Book that says lovable, pudgy golfers with a big grin are allowed to hit the ball like a rubber ball attached to a paddle whenever they choose and for as many times as they choose.
