When I was a kid in the mid-50s we rented a small cottage in Annapolis next to our landlord, Adm. Richard Byrd. The property had a walk-down well with stairs. The well-room was infested with black widow spiders. I never went there ever. Twice a year the Bausch and Lomb people would come and harvest the spiders. Evidently the black widow spider silk was the preferred material for scope cross hairs and other optical items.

As bad as she is the Black Widow is nothing compared to the Brown Recluse. That gal is the real deal. Bad to the bone!

I mean, really, adoption? Not to mention, “waving hands”?

This reads like a satire, and some of the grammar doesn’t make it any more credible.
