I have a good friend I almost lost due to this. He was/is a huge Cruz fan and I supported Trump. I did my best to be understanding of his support for Cruz but he couldn't understand my support for Trump. In the end Trump won of course and he lightened up; especially as time went on and he could finally see what I did in Trump.
BTW, I didn't dislike Cruz (didn't trust him though), I just liked Trump more right from the beginning.

What used to be amusing was to post Kaczynski's manifesto side by side with Al Gore's environmental ravings and have everyone try to guess which was which.

There was also people getting banned because they didn’t insult Cruz or buy into nonsense like Cruz’s dad killed JFK.
And a sudden infiltration of people pretending to be white nationalists as false flags or the real deal. It was an unpleasant period to be. Jewish freeper.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I agree, much of it might have been false flags to try to make conservatives look bad during an election season; but it's still very unpleasant. Glad you hung in there.

My sentiments exactly. The women friends I lost over the election were losers whom someone had cheated on in the past, and they just couldn't get past it, Bill Clinton or no Bill Clinton.
Beyond that, I just didn't thik Cruz was ready enough for the problems we are now facing. Trump can be crude, but he has the skills we need right now. No one else could have stood up to the beating all Republicans get, and he's of course getting an extra truckload every day. it will never stop, either. God bless him.

That’s the difference between “may” and “can.” You’re supposed to stay banned, but it remains technically possible to re-register.
