Of course if it were FF (False Flag) and some other country were to launch from nearby with one of those nifty Steel container launch units that are so easily shipped into the country....

Navy didn’t say “not us”. Navy said: “The base has no missile capabilities, there was no missile launch from the base.”

Nothing denying a launch from a sub/ship - so a true statement if a launch from a sub/ship did occur accident, bad actor, or hack.
