Poor guy has to spend the rest of his life at stud and getting paid for it...
I always have to laugh because the horse has no clue as to what is going on.
Impressive race, lead the whole way. Long shot Gronkowski came in second and was a close finish. Replays have not shown yet on NBC.
Hope he gets a nice meal tonight. :D
I hate George soros, but that was pretty cool. What a horse. Great race.
Jockey Mike Smith is the oldest jockey to win a Tripple Crown. He was not shy in giving thanks to Jesus and God. A very sincere thanks as he rode back to the winners circle.
Whooooooohooooo!!! Congratulations to the connections. Beautiful ride by Mike Smith.
Justify toyed with the field and won going away. He ran it in 2:28, Secretariats record is 2:24, which I think comes out to about 25 lengths Secretariat would have beat him by. With that said, horse racing needs Triple Crown winners and Justify was without a doubt the best this year. Congratulations to Justify for running a great race. After the Preakness I didnt think he could do it.
Exciting~!!!! Congrats to Justify, Mike Smith and his Trainer Bob Baffert~! Especially to Justify~!!!!
Justify’s sire, Scat Daddy, died unexpectedly in 2015 at the age of 11. Justify is part of his last crop.
WinStar Farm, one of North Americas leading thoroughbred racing and breeding operations, owns 60 percent of Justifys breeding rights. China Horse Club owns 25 percent. A third group, a secretive entity that holds the remaining 15 percent, will remain out of the spotlight because it vigorously avoids any public attention. It is a company controlled by top employees of the billionaire investor George Soros.
Great horse, jockey and trainer.
Well, he still hasn’t won the Grand Slam. See how he does at the Breeder’s Cup, and see if he’ll equal American Pharaoh.
Smarty Jones still breaks my heart running in that slop track and other a-hole Jockeys locking him in.

The extra trains to Belmont today were packed!
And on the 45th anniversary of Secretariat’s magnificent win.
In a span of 100 years, starting in 1919 through today, only 13 horses have managed to pull off this amazing feat. I would like to salute them.

It was wonderful to see it at a track (not Belmont) and feel the excitement of the crowd! Everyone went wild.
