Is anyone else having connection problems?
Now *that’s* support!
RTFM t-shirt. LOL.
(Read The f’n Manual for the uninitiated)
I’ve had the same problem for the last two days, but it only happens intermittently. (First time anything like this has happened since that long period after the election when things were messed up.)
Yes. Phoenix area. Rebooted computer, same situation. Am unclear on how to reboot the router so am going to wait until husband gets home from work for that. It is working at this moment.
And it took me eleven times to post the response.
TV and internet was out last night in TX. Every spring and summer, the internet is all but useless. Supposedly, it’s the amplifiers on a pole that are overheating. I call several times a day to complain and have done so for the past many years. No solution. No credit on the bill. Was told by the manager, very angrily, that he didn’t need our business and we should go elsewhere. Of course, there is no elsewhere to go so they know they can give crappy service.
Have you ever called your PUC about this poor service?
.
You must have it set too low. You have to turn up the internet dial to 10
The router has a pin hole you can push a pen into and it will re-set .... OR .... unplug everything for a minute or two and wait the 5 or 19 minutes for it all to boot back up
My son-in-law did the upgrade to Win 7 and told me that Win 7 will go the same way as Win XP. If it does, I will go to Apple. My friend told me that PCs that have to run on Microsoft are junk compared to Apple. He says to look for an Apple Pro Desktop. I saw some here for good prices:

Yup, all the DNS root nodes are down due to Russian hackers. The internet is broken for the foreseeable future.

Mine goes to 11.
I do appreciate all who took me seriously. It turned out the main modem needed rebooted and I cannot get to the spot where it sits. I have health problems. And for all of you who made fun of me..........I hope someday you need help and those around you just make fun of you.
Yes. I had problems. I had to shut down my pc and reboot my router.
Keep your PC and install Linux.
Same result, zero cost.
I had rebooted the computer, but couldnt reach the router. Turns out it was the main modem, which I also couldnt reach. But the odd thing is, I could bring up our main page, Google and Facebook, no problem. I could bring up search results on Google, but not bring up any of the pages listed. And all day I was wondering why I could bring up Google and Facebook, when the rest of the Internet wouldnt respond. I keep getting (blank) could not connect as the server didnt respond or your request has timed out. Thanks for the response, naps and thank you for your service.
