Never worry about the equipment or skills you don’t have.

Do what you can, where you are, with what you’ve got.

God gives each of us different gifts. We should each use what we have to the best of our abilities and NOT worry about what we don’t have or can’t do. Someone else will do those things, but not be able to do our things.

I’m working on the Senator/Rep thing today! They keep redistricting and I never remember who my Rep is. So I looked it up and now I know. Step 1 - check. Next I have to figure out what I’m going to say, then call and say it.

Does anyone have suggestions for what to say when both of your Senators and your Representative are all Democrats? I’d like to accomplish something but preferably without making myself a target for DS retaliation.

RE: Rat senators.

Firstly, you’ll probably find they have voicemail set up for fielding these calls. Mine do anyway. If that’s the case you can simply tell them you are a registered voter in “x” city or county and wish to remain anonymous. One of mine just asks that I leave my zip code. Then you can just state your points on their recording. I’ve been assured by one of my Senators that all the legislators do have dedicated staff to tally the “yaes” & “nays” for every issue/every call. He says they may not care about your political view but they all care about re-election. People who care enough to call, are active enough to cause discontent at home.

My suggestion is, if this is your first call you might start witb easier topics like getting Federal judges approved to relieve backlog of cases in courts. I don’t know your state but in any state but CA another easy topic would be insuring election integrity.
