RE: Rat senators.

Firstly, you’ll probably find they have voicemail set up for fielding these calls. Mine do anyway. If that’s the case you can simply tell them you are a registered voter in “x” city or county and wish to remain anonymous. One of mine just asks that I leave my zip code. Then you can just state your points on their recording. I’ve been assured by one of my Senators that all the legislators do have dedicated staff to tally the “yaes” & “nays” for every issue/every call. He says they may not care about your political view but they all care about re-election. People who care enough to call, are active enough to cause discontent at home.

My suggestion is, if this is your first call you might start witb easier topics like getting Federal judges approved to relieve backlog of cases in courts. I don’t know your state but in any state but CA another easy topic would be insuring election integrity.

Thank you!

I don’t believe for a second that someone somewhere is not tracking every call, text, and email. So I don’t believe my privacy is secure. But your topic suggestions are a great place to start and sufficiently non-inflammatory that I don’t think it will be too likely to make me a target.

I have called in the past, but I have never gotten through. Apparently on the big issues that I called about, the lines were jammed.

I’m going to try your suggestion of calling weekly on smaller issues.

Thanks again!
