Man accused of driving drunk on riding lawnmower in Lafourche Parish(mug shot)

A Lafourche Parish man was arrested on a DWI charge early Saturday (May 19), after deputies saw him swerving into and out of traffic on a riding lawnmower, according to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office.
Brian Cheramie, 59, admitted to drinking several beers before riding the lawnmower along La. 3162 in his hometown of Cut Off in South Lafourche, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
Deputies noticed Cheramie about 12:15 a.m. Saturday, as he was driving the lawnmower along the shoulder of the highway--and swerved into the westbound lane of traffic and then back onto the shoulder.

The guy that dumps the black tank on our boat built his own floating platform out of oil barrels. On it he has a white plastic chair, a rainbow colored patio umbrella, a stuffed parrot, and a bottle of Captain Morgan’s. You can see him coming from a long way away. Lol

In 1984 I was on Tiki 6 a commercial fishing boat that had gone out of Panama City Fl for 2 weeks. Weather turned bad and the vessel was tied up in Belle Pass for a month. The other young guy and I walked up to Golden Meadow and went to work in a Cheramie shrimp packing plant, loading boxes and driving between G.M. and Cut Off. Golden Meadow has been since then my favorite town in the USA. Tiki went back out with new ice for the two week trip but the only money made was what the two of us earned loading shrimp. The 4 old guys didn’t care. They got wine money from the captain.
