Just accidentally learned a new you tube trick

take a you tube link like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sb5aq5HcS1A

add &t= then the number of seconds you want the video to start playing at for example 180 = 3 minutes like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sb5aq5HcS1A&t=180

presto, video starts playing at 3 minutes

Or you could just pause the video where you want it to start and check the “Start at” box below the video url in the “Share” popup. That will automatically change the video url to the desired start point.
