I concede to your considerable knowledge of that day. But you can’t make me believe that it wasn’t a FF!

No, and I won’t try, because I’m not actually certain one way or the other, myself. I do think that President Bush was not privy to it. . . but it’s entirely possible deep state actors were. It’s possible they allowed it to happen at the very least.

Occam’s razor tells me that the forces of gravity and not controlled demolition brought down the buildings. I used to tutor in physics in college before I switched to economics. I can do the math. The skeptics hang their Tim foil hats on the melting temperature of steel, but what’s important was the softening point, where it bends. . . and how far it had to bend to pull out of the supporting cleets that connected the trusses that supported floors to the central column and to the girder wall. The other consideration is heat/pressure spalling of the concrete floors. The greatest percentage of the weight of each floor isn’t in the purlins, trusses, and girders, but in the ferroconcrete flooring of concrete and rebar. Add tremendous heat from the fuel plus the paper and wood load of desks and other combustible materials with open air feeds from the Holes made by the aircraft through the curtain wall, the temperature rises high enough to cause major spalling and large chunks of the upper floor concrete falls onto the next floor down, causing an overweight on that floor. If it collapses, the curtain wall goes, and it is the primary external girder support for all floors above the now collapsing floors. Those lose all external support and pull,out from internal support. A cascade immediately begins. Only fractions of a second of resistance on the first few upper floors can be accounted for but as more and more tons of added floors fall on each successive floor, there can be no appreciable resistance at all. The tower falls at near the speed of gravity. Cushioned only by the "hydraulic ram" of the volume of now superheated air being driven out of each successive floor as the ramming pile collapses. This is what shocked witnesses mistook for controlled demolition explosions.

On the other hand, I think that the Oklahoma Federal Murrah building was most likely a FF and that additional explosives were used there because the single truck bomb is insufficient to account for the evidence I saw in photographs of the building and the fact the knew which model of Ryder truck had been rent from finding the rear axle with the VIN but the ATF and FBI kept absurdly increasing the size of that truck to account for more and more barrels of fuel oil soaked ammonium nitrate (ANFO) needed to account for the size of the blast as they calculated more and more of the extent of the damage. They started with a sixteen foot box and by the time they finished it had grown to a 26’ box truck, the largest a person with a standard, non-commercial driver’s license can rent.

Not really doll. It’s just two kill boxes with one nested inside the other which requires two brackets to close both. Look closely and you’ll see the first left bracket before the word "reported" and the second left bracket before the word “false" then there are two right bracket after "false" closing both kill boxes. See?

Of course you're right. But I choose words based on how they sound and fit into the sentence for the most aesthetic and comic value. Decimate is a much funnier and prettier word and three syllables is often better than four.

But you're right, technically. It was more of an annihilation than a decimation. The field was strewn with trolls when I was done with them. Then I went back and check on them and they were pumping each other up and licking their wounds. I descended upon them from the hills and caught them unawares.

More carnage ensued and I looted their bodies as they lay.

It was a very good day. If you listen closely, you can hear the lamentation of their women.

That’s a strawman argument, JockoManning. Only the tin foil hat brigade ever postulated that any steel had to melt. . . and it is they who keep bringing it up because it is easy to shoot down. But any one who has done any blavksmithing can tell you, steel bends easily at a far lower temperature than it melts, far lower. . . and THAT temperature, especially when fed by air blowing through the opening the plane made, feeding a fuel load composed of jet-A, paper, and wood products, DOES get hot enough to soften steel to the bending point.

Did you see the reports of that steel building fire/collapse in Sao Paulo this past week?

One reason I KNOW it’s possible is that when I was a boy, a six story steel girder and beam medical building was under construction near my house. They’d just completed the steel work and were building the wooden forms for the concrete flooring to be poured. They gotten the first three floors forms done when some high school kids took five gallons of gasoline (17 cents a gallon back then) and spread it around the forms on the first two floors and ignited it. The result was a four alarm fire. Open work, wood forms, and steel girders and beams, box construction. . . Plus gasoline and a good stiff easterly wind.

The next morning what was left of the building was a pile of steaming, smoking, bent and twisted steel. Nothing was straight and boxlike anymore, nor was it six stories tall. It was at most a pretzel shaped mass of curved junk about two to three stories tall. Every girder and beam was bent and twisted by the heat of that wood fire. They had to raze it and start over.

I don’t see any "melted" structural steel components, but there sure are a lot of BENT and TWISTED steel distorted by heat.

That’s pretty much what that under-construction medical building looked like after that arson fire. . . and there wasn’t that much wood in that one.

Do you realize how many Arabs share the same names? Their names are Mohammed ibn Akhmed ibn Alman al-Jalmani. That in English is Mohammed son of Akhmed son of Alman from the town of Jalmani. And every third Arab is named Mohammed or Akhmed.

Not while it’s still hot, cboldt. I also ran a gunshop for years. Heat treating required the right temperature and the right quenching. Only then is it stronger. While it’s hot, it’s softer and more malleable. So, no bandana.

I can show them that hitting the pentagon with a Boeing 757 at 400 MPH is the equivalent of hitting it with one ton on high explosives, yet they’d prefer to come up with complicated mysterious missiles decked out to look like airliners while the real airliners are instead hijacked so the passengers can be murdered retail instead of wholesale at a secret location, while impersonators call their families from cellular phones pretending to be them, having completely researched them so the pretender knows whom to call and just what and how to say it, to say endearments in their last moments of life. . . Then dispose of the planes, somehow, so they won’t be noticed, on the world wide Boeing black market. . . all so they can pretend fly hijacked planes into building using faked up missiles that look just like the hijacked planes so they can initiate timed, controlled demolitions which beginnfrom the exact sites where the missile/hijacked plane fakes struck, killing all the non-passengers on board. Then, in one instance arrange to leave the proper airline plane parts strewn along the ground approach and also inside the struck building, all from a much smaller missile slash fake airliner. . . Right, sure. Oh, I forgot, claim that all the eye witnesses really were victims of a mass hallucination induced by some as yet unknown technology. Got it?

And that’s supposed to be simple enough to meet William of Occam’s Razor? I don’t think so.

Add in that after finishing the 37th floor (IIRC) of building one, the Port Authority in a cost cutting measure, and because the management could not conceive of the need for its protection, discontinued the application of thesprayed-on fire insulation coating on the steel and concrete on all further construction. This coating was intended by the architect and engineers to prevent for a time the heating of the steel until a fire could be extinguished. Without it, no prevention was present.

Actually, it did not. It’s not possible even with a controlled demolition as the TF hat brigade claim. I’ve again done the math and it takes about seven second longer than gravity alone would call for. These TF hatters aren’t very good either at observation or at math. One or the other, possibly both.

The chatter centers around Cook cutting a deal with PRC to provide spy capability, hence the President’s statements on no further iPhones for government-related persons.

Trump has said no such thing. Do an internet search fo him saying that. You won’t find it. In 2016 Trump called for a boycott of Apple if they did not start building products in the US, but Apple was already building products here, and had started plans to move more here. Trump himself now uses an iPhone and an iPad. Trump and Cook had a cordial meeting at the White House this week in the Oval Office. Apple’s primary selling point is User Privacy. Given that, do you think Cook would allow the PRC to spy? Are you at all familiar with the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002? If Cook were to have done such a thing he’d be on the hook for personal fines of $20 million and 20 years in prison and under SOX these charges can be brought by stockholders! This chatter is from people who don’t know what they are talking about.

If Trump were ordering no iPhones for government, why is the military moving over to them? It’s the Android phones that have the Chinese spyware on them, not Apple. The chatter comes from Android competition.

Apple is already the only computer maker building computers in the US. The Apple Mac Pro is manufactured entirely in Austin Texas. I just spent $4400 on one this week. . . And some iMacs are assembled in Elk Grove, California, about twelve miles from where I live. Apple has reneged on nothing. A huge assembly plant is being built in Wisconsin right now. . .for FoxConn, Apple’s primary contract assembler. Just Tuesday, in the Quarterly Financial Conference Call, Cook said it’s time to invest in America.
