Kanye West just said 400 years of slavery was a choice
CNN ^ | 5/1/18 | Harmeet Kaur

(CNN)Tuesday brought us two Kanyes.

The first was a man who opened up about his mental health, his family, and his art in a nearly-two hour interview with radio host Charlamagne Tha God. The second was a Kanye who appeared at the TMZ headquarters where he had this to say: "When you hear about slavery for 400 years ... For 400 years? That sounds like a choice." The rapper went on to add: "You were there for 400 years and it's all of y'all. It's like we're mentally imprisoned."

And radio host Charlamagne Tha God is guilty of cultural appropriation from medieval France.

Not to mention that that slavery ended in 1865 so unless they were here in 1465 waiting for Columbus to double park in the Caribbean 27 years later and then waited another 115 years for the English settlers to set up shop, that 400 years of slavery is definitely mindset the farther away from 1865 it gets.

“Are you deaf, CNN, or just stupid?”

Option 3: they are trying to maliciously mislead.

Many blacks are still nursing a grievance that is 150 years old. They seem to think victim hood gives them power.

I don’t pay much attention to Kayne. He is first and foremost, an entertainer.

He is saying that people have chosen to think they are slaves despite being freed emasse over 150 years ago
He used this Harriet Tubman quote
‘ I freed a thousand slaves and I could have freed a thousand more
if only they knew they were slaves”

Blacks stuck in the democrat plantation of victimhood are still slaves - by choice of themselves and their masters like Clinton and yes obama who hold them down as “ victims” and use racism for political power via votes.
Strange that a quirky dude like Kanye West is speaking it. This generation’s Frederick Douglass is a somewhat nutty black rapper?

Yep. Slavery is front and foremost in the minds of the black racists. Politics politics politics 24/7. They cannot allow their culture to advance because that would hurt democrats. It’s really quite sick when you think about it. You have one life. You should Live it to your fullest potential and not think about politics all the time. But the democrat plantation owners just won’t free those minds. They keep instilling into the weak that they are victims TODAY because of something horrible from 400 years ago. Kanye is saying the physical chains are broken but for all these years the minds are still serving the massa and it needs to stop. I fully agree.

Dems/libs are the sickest people on the planet.

They are usually both, but in this case and many others, they are more likely treasonous and evil.

Slavery in the US and English North America started in the 1600s and ended in 1865. Only Common Core math calls that 400 years. We’re not responsible for what the Spanish Empire did, they enslaved everybody.

He is that.

But I think the black community should listen to him and we should give him encouragement. And it would be a good thing to hear other voices of encouragement coming from the black community suggesting that there is something more possible than eternal racially based victimhood and resentment.

People in the black community need to find a way to break the stranglehold of the pervasive, corrosive, and destructive black culture.

We on the right see people like Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, and Allen West as conservatives capable of conveying the message, but to the overwhelming majority of those in the black community we want the message to reach, the name of Thomas Sowell would likely draw a blank stare.

I see people like Kayne West as a step in the right direction, IMO.

Notice the .... in the middle of the quote. That is where the LEFT MEDIA CARTEL distorted his message.

Math doesn’t seem to be their strong suit. The first slaves at Jamestown were in 1619...399 years ago. There were few slaves in the mainland British colonies until the second half of the 17th century, so slavery existed in a significant fashion for about 200 years, more than half of it before the colonies became independent.

Slavery is still practiced in Africa. England and Western nations were the first to abolish slavery in the world through industrial revolution.

Sick of this bull sht. What they reproach us is that westerners affranchised themselves before the rest. Kanye is right.

Let em fight it out.
Just like Trump when he says something that can knocked out of context.
Examples will come out that will back him later on.

It is slave mentality and victim-hood status etc.
There are so many that choose this form of slavery, even so many more that fully encourage it, so that these people can be exploited.

This statement was all about context. In the context Kannya was referring too. He was not about blacks being a slave but he was referring to the idea of victimhood over slavery. his words were not will chosen and then were twisted and edited by TMZ to distort his ideas and concepts. When you watch the video of the interview you can see that they edited it so that three separate parts of the interview were put together and the context would be lost to most people viewing it. then the written media spun it so that when CNN or MSNBC interviews one of the usual suspects they can talks about how wrong and crazy Kenya is.

To win this argument with liberalized and brainwashed Blacks, Booker T. Washington and Thomas Sowell quotes are all one needs. End of story/drop the mic. To debate a liberal is always a waste of time.
