Exaaaaactly. The "Trump is not under investigation" line is some B.S. It is intended to make The Donald overconfident and get him in there flapping his gums and incriminating himself in some kind of perjury trap. The Donald thinks this is like all the lawsuits he's been involved in over the years and he can treat it like that. I'm not sure he understands this is POLITICAL and quite different from those situations.
He may understand that by now and I expect he won't be submit to testify. He may answer the questions in writing, if at all. I would be shocked if he gives a live interview. Besides, Mueller may self destruct before then, anyway.
