OUTSTANDING post! Most thought-provoking thing I’ve read in a while.
Pro Comey - good guy
1. all your points are consistent
2. “A Higher Loyalty” - double meaning that tells us he really answers to Trump and/or God
3. He’s been on the inside long enough that he knows what happens to whistleblowers and those who fight the system. (They are destroyed. Absolutely destroyed.)
4. This is the only explanation I can think of that explains the bizarre “October Surprise” action.
Con Comey - bad guy
1. Seems to have been driven by $ and shady deals. Made $$$ at cushy Lockheed job with big exit bonus.
2. “A Higher Loyalty” - self-serving way to paint himself as someone with moral integrity. Yet another lie.
3. Classic democrat/evil tactic is to do nothing but insist they have to “investigate” until everyone forgets about the issue, stall for time, drag things out. Then when the “investigation” is finally completed, “That’s old news” is supposed to brush everything under the rug. This seemed to be the MO with the exception of the October investigation resurrection.
Perhaps pressure from White Hats forced his hand on the October surprise. In that case, it just means he’s for sale to the highest bidder, or biggest blackmailer.
4. No Deals. If Comey has turned, that argues against it.
Questions
1. Assuming he’s a good guy, who did he contact with the info he knew? How did he think he was going to blow this open? (And for that matter, I’d really like to know how all the white hats found each other and managed to concoct this plan and execute it without leaks.)
2. What was the deal with the drapes?
3. What have the black hats got on Comey that’s been keeping him in line for so many years?
Seems to me, if he was a truly good guy, he’d have a harder time lying with such a straight face on camera.
One interesting point, in particular, which demands notice.
"4. No Deals. If Comey has turned, that argues against it."
What is President Trump known for? (well, besides "You're fired!")
"The Art of the Deal."
What does it say about the stakes involved, if the lead statement to the adversaries, which keeps being repeated, is "No Deals" ...?
