A lot of people will lose their jobs because of one person if they cancel it. Recasting should definitely be tried first

“A source tells TVLine that studio Warner Bros. is considering recasting Claynes Martin Riggs role possibly with a female to play opposite Damon Wayans Roger Murtaugh in a potential fourth season. “ This would be the dumbest idea in the history of television and I’ve seen Coy and Vance Duke.

He is just trying to stay in character!
I stayed away from this show but recently caught a few episodes and I have to admit, it kinda grew on me.

How about not remaking the movie. It really can’t be improved on.

It’s amazing how the actors that play total nutcases seem to be total nutcases. Vincent D’anforio (spelling wrong but don’t really care) from Law and Order was psycho too.

To: cyclotic
Yeah but he played that into the role so very well.

Absolutely.
It should be a trans female.

Yeah, but D’Onofrio was so good on Law and Order CI.
I still love to watch his episodes.
I can watch the Chris Noth episodes and enjoy them, but definitely have to turn off Jeff Goldblum.
He was downright terrible in the role.

Recasting main characters on a TV show is nothing new.

and then just ask anybody how bad the show was after Ashton Kucher came along.
I mean, indescribably BAD.

I still haven’t heard what Crawford did that was supposedly so bad that crybabies don’t want to be on the set with him. Doesn’t he get due process before being fired from his job? Acting is not like other jobs. You have to stay at least somewhat in character most of the time. If he was just being a dick to people because, well, Martin Riggs can be kind of a dick I don’t think they should be able to fire him just because of his commitment to the role.

Maybe they can just replace him with Dick Sargent.
To: EdnaMode
My first reaction was, who? They need to replace the shrink with a real shrink.
