Footage of police arresting a woman at a Saraland, Alabama, Waffle House shows authorities threatening to break her arm after tackling her to the floor. Chikesia Clemons, who reportedly refused to pay a 50-cent charge on her bill (for plastic utensils), is claiming that excessive force was used and is facing charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

It’s misleading. Her breasts became exposed during the process of arresting her, as she resisted.
If it is true that there was a dispute over 50c charge then this escalated unnecessarily and I can’t really support the declaration of the officer, “I’ll break your arm”. Of course there could be more to it but sometimes simple disputes should just be diffused not escalated.
Several years ago I thought nothing of stopping at my local Waffle House late at night. I wouldn’t do that today if I had to.
Prolly both! LOL
You nut.
Thats another one of those headlines that you think youll never see.
That alone could have probably gotten her free utensils at Chick-fil-A.
Did they weigh-in before the match?
I like to see a fair match.
You can see the uncensored tape by Googling her first name. For a 25 year old, it ain’t impressive.
Wife and I hit the WH Christmas Eve before last. We were getting on a plane Christmas Day as the celebration was taking place across the country. The staff were wonderful. We tipped well also.
I like their fresh-tasting hash browns.Pretty fair-priced on food, lower than many. I never witnessed a disturbance on many visits. Staff sometimes distracted by their chatter among themselves.
Waffle House charges 50 cents for to-go orders. I believe this is where the plastic utensils came into play.
I’ve seen black-woman-at -the-store rage before so I’m not surprised it took 3 cops to get her subdued.
I forgot. Coffee is good and usually fresh. If not, ask for new pot.

Waffle house does not use real butter. They have a couple of different items they will give you the staff thinks is butter, but they are clearly labeled as something other than butter. If you ask them they can not find any butter int he building. For that reason I don't go to Waffle House.
My life is nothing like these folks seem to have!
Ive yet to go to Waffle House topless (or anywhere else for that matter, though I did threatened to after our cruise ship parked next to a Costa ship, that had one area where everyone was topless and all the men rushed over to look at those overbaked boobs)!
Ive worn some pretty skimpy tops and shorts but never had anyone wrestle me to the ground for fifty cents!
I really need to rethink my life up to now - what has gone wrong!
I introduced my youngest daughter to Waffle House when she was in college. I got to her college in the Shenandoah Valley and said “Let’s eat at Waffle House for a change.” She reluctantly said “OK”. And then she discovered their “cheesy eggs” i.e. scrambled eggs with cheese and the waffles and she has been a dedicated customer ever since.
I remember when I use to go to National Guard training near Ringgold, GA, where I was an instructor. There was no mess hall on the small training area so we had to eat in local restaurants. Breakfast was an easy choice, since military in uniform got free coffee with meals at the local Waffle House.
Do we have Waffle House in TX ?
We stopped at The Waffle House a few times years ago. Not exactly haute cuisine, but you know what you’re going to get. I wouldn’t hesitate to stop at the one in a neighboring town -— very low crime, conservative area -— if I wanted to eat there. Would probably be one of my last choices, though, because I don’t particularly care for their food, although I see they’ve expanded their menu -— and their prices. Cracker Barrel is a better value, IMHO.
Why was she topless? Does it have anything to do with the plastic utensils? the $.50 charge? or The police officer?
The officers pulled her shirt down.
