The first fortune cookie that my wife got at the beginning of our relationship 40+ years ago was, "Soon, and in pleasant company". I'm not sure your suggestion would have helped. In our family, on reading one’s fortune cookie, you have a choice of phrase to add. You must either add "in bed" or "with a gun" or both. . . which ever seems most appropriate.
