Cats are working animals. . . and useful for science and geography too.
They prove the world isnt flat!
If it were, cats would have pushed everything moveable off the edge by now. Q.E.D., there is no edge to push things off!
We had a little white short-haired cat who earned the name "Catastrophe" because she never saw anything on a shelf she did not think didnt look better smashed on the floor!
When she practiced her "art," usually looking right at one of us to gauge our appreciation for her flair and follow through, not to mention the wonderful crashing sounds created, l kept threatening to convert her into a "Cat Ass Trophy," the taxidermied, rear end of a little white cat mounted on a suitable walnut plaque, which I could hang on the wall! She just looked at me smugly and pushed the next breakable object off the shelf with her paw.
My mother would likely have thrown such a cat so hard that the cat became embedded in the concrete wall.
GREAT cat story. We had a short-haired white that was deaf. She was a center of attention when we took her to fireworks displays. Brilliant little thing that would walk on a leash and come to hand signals.
The last big thing ours knocked off the shelf was the new Windows 10 that I hated so much I unplugged it and got the 7 repaired. Smart cat. Good kitty.
