Really? Joe Walsh signed everything over to The Iggles? I could have gone a long time without having to hear that.
Personally I’ve always thought The Eagles did boring music with the exceptions being Take It Easy and Outlaw Man.
Joe Walsh was something else. The James Gang Rides Again from 1970...Walsh was doing guitar effects on that album that were pioneering IMO. Good stuff.
I followed the career arc of the guy he replaced, Tommy Bolin. Very good guitarist but never found acceptance on his own. Ended up playing for Deep Purple on one album and then OD’d.
