There was a peeping tom in our neighborhood in St. Louis when I was a kid. The guys from around the neighborhood grouped up and would walk around looking for him at night. When you turn over responsibility for anything to the government, people no longer take the responsibility to do for themselves.

Not only that, but the law goes after the men who take care of business, and the pedos/etc get off scott free or a slap on the wrist. Vigilante justice servers get slammed by the law. It's bad.

If we had a justice system instead of a “just us” system, and if we had non-corrupt and non-lazy cops, there wouldn’t be vigilantes. But we don’t, so there are.
