Just my opinion here....
Nothing wrong with cliques. I think of them as affinity groups. There seem to be cliques and sub-cliques on the Q threads. Some people are focused on locking up HRC, some on the pedo situation, some on Comey, etc., etc.
On a lighter note, some are swapping recipes, making jokes and in jokes. Some are just providing encouragement to others when things look bleak.
I have a list that I ping to when I think something is important or of general interest. I try not to ping to it too often because I don’t want people to suffer from “ping fatigue”. My list started with people who seemed to have shared concerns. I’m happy to take anyone off or put anyone on - just ping me or private message me.
I have had both public and private arguments with people on the list (and not on the list). Friendly arguments. I value the opinions of everyone here (except for trolls) whether I agree with them or not. In fact, when you argue with me that is VERY VALUABLE TO ME. If I get my facts wrong, I want to be corrected. If your opinion is different, I want to see your side of it.

I agree with you.
My little “cligue” comment, waaay upthread, if you are maybe even referring to it, in the initial use of the term on this thread, was very specific.
Certainly, “affinity” is a less combative application to the the word “clique”. There are other applications, unfortunately, that tend to stoke. If you know what I mean.
Some times, hair trigger. Then,...... dum-de-dum-dum (scary music)..... there is the lovable bagster.— class mascot.
We can do NOTHING with him!
