The Ring of Fire is active everywhere but in the United States. Pressure is no doubt building along the west coast.
I searched records for quakes >4.5/<5.5, worldwide.

Yes, and it transfers inland. So far most relieved in Oklahoma and dissipates a bit before it hits the New Madrid.
The fracking in Oklahoma gives a path of least resistance. I live near the New Madrid area, so I tend to watch that stuff.
