Do you have any evidence?

I’m not disagreeing, just asking if you have it. I’ve been inclined to agree with your view for a long time. My “evidence” is primarily the absence of genuine evidence of warming, but increasingly the evidence is the knowledge of how the liberals/DS behave. I.e., if they say the sun comes up in the east, I start looking in the west!

What’s a Grand Solar Minimum Anyway? Why wasn’t I taught about it in school?

The above is a short Vid/quick overview:

This guy has a lot of Vids and has half a dozen links to articles. As a starter on the subject. We have a Grand Solar Minimum around every 200 years. The last one was in early 1800s and called the Dalton Minimum.

Relationship between sunspots, cosmic rays, and magnetic changes : cooling trend and more seismic/volcanic activity. The current minimum has been named The Eddy minimum.

Basically there is sunspot data from around the time of the invention of the telescope.

Gallileo drew pictures of sunspots and noted their movement on the sun and postulated that the sun rotated.

Mini ice age from 1350 to 1750 coincided with lack of sunspots and big volcano eruptions.

In this 1677 painting by Abraham Hondius, “The Frozen Thames, looking Eastwards towards Old London Bridge,” people are shown enjoying themselves on the ice. In the 17th century there was a prolonged reduction in solar activity called the Maunder minimum, which lasted roughly from 1645 to 1700. During this period, there were only about 50 sunspots recorded instead of the usual 40-50 thousand. Image credit: Museum of London

The big problem is the reduced growing season for grains
