THE lost city of Atlantis may have finally been uncovered after a structure was spotted poking through the ice of Antartica on Google Earth.
Conspiracy theorists have long searched for the mythical city, which was first written about by philosopher Plato.
Some believe it was a real place and was once the ruling power of the world before a natural disaster sank the entire island into the sea.
But one man – Graham Maple, who runs YouTube channel Conspiracy Depot – may have brought an end to all the speculation after his amazing spot on the web mapping site.
He believes what he has stumbled across is a groundbreaking discovery that could provide some insight into our past.
Speaking to Daily Star Online exclusively, he detailed what he found.
He said: “It looks ancient, almost like it has been carved out of the rock itself.
“I’m of the opinion this is the remains of a building or structure.
“I think there were large civilisations spanning the ancient Antarctic continent and maybe Antarctica was even home to the mythical Atlantis?
“There is so much forgotten knowledge of our ancient history. We are beginning to scratch the surface in discovering this.”
And Graham went on to detail how he spotted the mystery online.
He added: "I saw the mysterious structure after noticing it looked out of place with the surrounding environment.
“It seems to have been revealed due to melting ice and snow, as this continues I can only wonder what discoveries will be made in the future.
“The three parts of the structure are equal distances apart and all measure approx seven meters in length.”
Just last week Daily Star Online looked at some of the most convincing evidence that Atlantis exists.

The melting of the post-flood glaciers is what raised the oceans covering hundreds of coastal post flood cities all of which are well mapped.
That is the basis of the “Atlantis” legends.
There is a stargate down there.
Antarctica? - Atlantis was supposed to be somewhere near the Canary Islands off the cost of Portugal - but not that far off.....

Except as the occasional guest host. Don’t know why he gave it up. There were some hints that he was getting threats, but I’m sure that’s conspiracy theory stuff.
I remember Art explaining his reasons for retiring from Coast to Coast, when it happened. The details are fuzzy now, but he said on the air, that there were serious threats to his family involved.
Initially, he tried to handle the situation by moving from Pahrump to Manila, where he continued to broadcast for a while.
Apparently that didn't satisfy his alleged enemies, and the pressure against him and his family continued.
I seem to recall him taking an extended leave from the show, and at some point, he wound up back in Pahrump, broadcasting from his residence again.
From what I remember, it wasn't long after that, when he finally turned the show over to Noory.
All in all, it was a bizarre and confusing series of events, and I don't know whether Art ever revealed all of the details.

There’s been a lot of claims about a pyramid sticking out of the Antarctic ice (due to global warming, I’m sure) over the past few years. There was even a claim that John McCain was sure it was artificial and wanted it investigated, and/or that John Kerry had gone down there to investigate (making this more than a few years old). As Oatka pointed out in #39 above, Rand and Rose Flem-Ath (that’s a last name they made from their two last names) got the Atlantis-in-Antarctica ball rolling over 20 years ago, with their book “When the Sky Fell: In Search of Atlantis”. Their related website used to be pretty good, but has vanished.

They based their idea on Charles Hapgood’s idea of crustal displacement. They also pointed out the fossil evidence that Antarctica hasn’t been ice-covered for really all that long a time. The only response I’ve seen to that fossil evidence is by some alleged scientist who claimed that those fossils (and nothing else) were plucked from an unknown location in South America and dropped into the snow. The fossils involved are of a temperate plant species, and are about 3 million years old.

Hmmmm - revealed by melting snow and ice......I’d wager the power source came back on and warmed things up in the area.....so much technology just waiting to be rediscovered......
