In general, there are lots of ways, but for the most part, checklists and aboility of systems to detect malfunction is pretty darn good, and for de-icing, is pretty darn good.
I think pinning this crash on deliberate sabotage is a tin-foil finding.
I see HRC nowhere in this crash business, but instead in India, or Indonesia, at that hour. Where she was and what she was DOING, on that time stamp, seems much more interesting.

Regarding allegations of sabatage to the regional jet. There were previous drops that pointed to a patent for guidance chip that is in all airplanes and cars. If there is a way into all of these systems from hackers, and there is tons of evidence that is so, then remotely interfering with flight operations is no where near tin foil hat territory.
