Regarding allegations of sabatage to the regional jet. There were previous drops that pointed to a patent for guidance chip that is in all airplanes and cars. If there is a way into all of these systems from hackers, and there is tons of evidence that is so, then remotely interfering with flight operations is no where near tin foil hat territory.
Oh that patent was worked by HRC and the Rose Law Firm.
Sigh. I'll defer to your superior knowledge of guidance and control systems, and set my engineering background and considerable study of hardware, software, and "assistaace" devices (cruise control, autopilot, power steering (both hydraulic and electric)) aside.
