How does one make a plane crash?

For this one, the crash was due to wing icing. So somehow disable the system or systems that takes care of that.

In general, there are lots of ways, but for the most part, checklists and aboility of systems to detect malfunction is pretty darn good, and for de-icing, is pretty darn good.

I think pinning this crash on deliberate sabotage is a tin-foil finding.

Bad fuel, burn up the avionics, take out the hydraulics, suicidal pilot, co- pilot or crew. Well, you did ask 😉

Uninterruptable Auto Pilot Control. Likely meant to be used in case a terrorist took over the cockpit. Used to be a patent you could look up. IIRC, goes back to client from Rose Law Firm days.
