Lord help me, Jesus,
I've wasted it so help me, Jesus,
I know what I am.
Now that I know,
That I've needed you so help me Jesus,
My soul's in your hand.

Great song by Kristofferson inspired from a church visit where Larry Gatlins song Help Me Lord was playing.
Always puts a lump in my throat.

Thanks
Got Kris on an old LP with Rita Coolidge where he sings it.

That time of year.
I went to the Palm Sunday service last night, and had more of the feeling than usual that Jesus was with me. May he remain with us and guide us. Easter is still to come.

I had asked God that same question. I received my answer in a dream, “Why not?” So I just keep going.......

Oddly, I just heard this song for the first time in years on the classic country station. Is there something about this day that ties to that song? I guess it is palm Sunday but I don’t ever recall hearing this song before on previous palm Sundays.

One of my favorites - Kris couldn't sing but the tone of his voice and the words of the songs made that irrelevant - I have a lot of his music and it takes me mellow.
On the flippant side....the Lord says, "Why not you?"

1. It’s a suggestion.
2. It’s Jim’s site and I am just a guest. As are we all.
