Australian nurses and midwives are being forced to announce their 'white privilege' before treating Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander patients - a move which has been slammed as 'racist to its core'.
The term 'white privilege' defines the unearned social and cultural advantages awarded to people with white skin which are not enjoyed by people of colour or non-white backgrounds.

Let’s see.....? My White Privledge.
Born in 1946. Mom hated us and beat us severely with a wire or belt when “correcting” our mannerisms. Parents were divorced when I was 9 and we had to take care ourselves while mother worked. Started work at 9 years old sacking groceries, moved on to 2 paper routes later and had very little social connections to the local society due to lack of money and the need to work. Graduated from highschool in 1965 and worked in the oilfield until I joined the Air Force. NEVER drew a single dollar from the government or any association in my life in the name of welfare or government assistance. I am now 71 years old and own a business in which my financial security is well established.......without any help from the government or welfare.
Now all that I hear is “white privilege” and the sheer hate from those who have no ambition to sacrifice their time to work and get ahead. It’s a new society in which color denotes which governmental assistance program will give you a “leg up” over white people like me.
So privileged to come here as the descendant of a prisoner.
To think I tried to immigrate there once.. Bahhh!
A white star on their chest, the new mark of the Devil? Self hating whites are getting to be a real pain in the bu++. That must be a terrible burden they carry.
Zackly.
Whatever shoe fits. Im not racist and will gladly treat anyone of any race or religion. However I am too much of a lady to force my services on anyone who resents my race or religion. I wouldnt want to cause them discomfort.....
What? Cant the outback resident just SEE that their care givers are WHITE? I am sure that their aboriginal math can put 2 and two together.
They should also make these “white devil nurses” reveal that Rolf Harris’, “Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport” was one of their favorite songs while they were growing up “white”.
Nothing did she say. But she affirmed it in her eyes.
I supposed that I was well. I couldnt tell that I was sick. The sickness crept upon me by degrees, in changes that came slowly, all too slowly, day by day. And now today it came to me, as if to one who sees through glasses for the first time in his life, when all the while his vision has been poor. A Fantasía for Two Lutes
So they, as the servants, are forced to “apologize” for serving competently? Would the patients rather their nurses announce “I am proud to have been awarded my nursing degree simply because I am of a protected race. In fact, I have no knowledge of nursing or even medicine, for that matter. But I can do a hell of a hair weave.”
Was that before, or after, the buggery?
The entire western civilized world has gone daffy.
Although the article does not identify the composition of “The Board” who imposed this rule on the nurses and midwives, I suspect you would find they are mostly guilt-ridden, Kool-Aid drinking white liberals.
I doubt that the average aborigine or Torres Island native cares about their white nurses or midwives announcing their “white privilege” before treating them so long as they carry out their duties with the care and compassion expected of the profession.
This is not just liberal “virtue signaling.” Requiring this announcement serves no PRESENT DAY medical purpose since, I feel pretty certain, the level of care provided NOW is not based on the patient’s race to begin with. This is bureaucratic abuse of employees by their supervisors for political purposes. If following this “practice” is made a requirement of employment, I consider a lawsuit to stop it.
Should they wear a W on their arm as well?
A scarlet ‘W’?
And what about a Filipino nurse, they come in different colors?
What if they have ‘high cheekbones?
And where do you find one of those? The globalist, crony capitalist, socialist cabal is, well, global.
Lots of pregenocidal anti-white stuff out there these days.
Nurse to Aborigine: I’m white! Can’t help you!
My thought too. Cure the idiots naturally....or not.
People have always embraced group identities and always will.
Obama had much more privilege growing up than many of us here, and his children will have much more privilege than most in the world. Go see the conditions some in Appalachia live in, and ask if they have white privilege. If we don’t push back indignantly and vociferously against this kind of labelling and rhetoric, we allow it to persist.
