Well, I do agree with that, however he was willing to take the border wall off the table this time. Probably means we wont get it anything there until after 2020. His position was shown to him in stark relief by his supposed allies Ryan and McConnell...and they went out of their way to shove it down his throat in the roughest way possible. They sent him a BIG message about where he stands in Washington D.C.
This budget runs until October, yes?
By that time, the Congressional Repubs will be right in the middle of pretending to be "conservative" in time for the midterms. The Donald can use that fakery to leverage a better bill. More winning up until then only puts The Donald in a stronger position. And The Donald has promised not to sign any more crap spending bills. He will keep his word.
We play this game again in October.
