By that time, the Congressional Repubs will be right in the middle of pretending to be "conservative" in time for the midterms. The Donald can use that fakery to leverage a better bill. More winning up until then only puts The Donald in a stronger position. And The Donald has promised not to sign any more crap spending bills. He will keep his word.

The problem, as I see it, is the pressure to not shut down the government....which keeps getting greater as time goes by. I’m not sure things will get get better on that score by October. The people have been well trained to view that kind of loggerheads as the worst thing that can happen...and it means the man in charge is incompetent. Nice little scam the political class has going there.
