or plan on selecting crops which don't require as much time until maturity or productivity.
Hybrids are grown for productivity and for market; Heirlooms are grown for consistency and proven viability in various adverse conditions.

You can also stock garden seed for one zone colder but since your garden is a yearly thing you don't have to do as much preplanning.
