With the Masters starting in just three weeks, the oddsmakers favorite to win the green jacket is now Tiger Woods. These odds are for the 2018 Masters, to be clear.
The move into solo position with the lowest odds for Augusta came on Thursday morning. Woods had an 8:23 a.m. ET tee time at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and he’s spent much of the morning sharing the lead at Bay Hill. Woods went out with a 3-under 33 on the course’s back nine, his best opening nine score at this event since 2007.

How could they make golf more unwatchable? Easy...by hiring announcers who get a boner every time the word “Tiger” is mentioned. Sick people who obsess over false idols.
Unfortunately for the golf world, many of the current crop of announcers will get boners for whoever is the Current Big Thing. Ricki Fowler, Jordan Spieth and Jason Day come to mind. All slightly faggified metro guys. Now Tiger comes back and their ain’t no swishy going on with him. So I don’t mind it nearly as much as I did during the decade he was in charge. There are still guys like Faldo and Johnny Miller who will call a spade a spade and have been there and done that so their word is good and true. I wouldn’t mind seeing some older guy who’s been around for 20 plus years grinding away win his first major next month.

Ricki Fowler and Jordan Spieth are both outspoken Christians who talk the talk and walk the walk. They dress nice, behave well on and off the course, and above all are excellent role models for a lost generation of young men.

How did he sully the game? His personal life sullied the idea of men in general, but last I saw he didn’t cheat or do anything illegal or immoral on the course. I hope he wins. I like to see people who are experts prove themselves.
