Unfortunately for the golf world, many of the current crop of announcers will get boners for whoever is the Current Big Thing. Ricki Fowler, Jordan Spieth and Jason Day come to mind. All slightly faggified metro guys. Now Tiger comes back and their ain’t no swishy going on with him. So I don’t mind it nearly as much as I did during the decade he was in charge. There are still guys like Faldo and Johnny Miller who will call a spade a spade and have been there and done that so their word is good and true. I wouldn’t mind seeing some older guy who’s been around for 20 plus years grinding away win his first major next month.

Ricki Fowler and Jordan Spieth are both outspoken Christians who talk the talk and walk the walk. They dress nice, behave well on and off the course, and above all are excellent role models for a lost generation of young men.

He miss the next-to-last putt, of about 4 feet, (which would have given him the recrdo) by about a foot.
