I remember when Jordan Spieth won with an ALMOST record....
He miss the next-to-last putt, of about 4 feet, (which would have given him the recrdo) by about a foot.
Spieth is in a slump. He’s one of those who always refer to “we” when talking about how he played, especially if he won. As in “we hit the right shots today. “We putted really well” etc. referring to himself and his caddie. I’d like to see him let the old ego go and start saying “I” did this and that. After all, he is the only on holding the club that hits the shot. It’s nice to recognize contributions of his “team” but he’s the one generating the bucks that make their lives comfortable.
