Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi issued this statement after President Trump fired his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and announced CIA Director Mike Pompeo as his replacement:
“Secretary Tillerson’s firing sets a profoundly disturbing precedent in which standing up for our allies against Russian aggression is grounds for a humiliating dismissal. President Trump’s actions show that every official in his Administration is at the mercy of his personal whims and his worship of Putin.
“It is no wonder that the President has trouble attracting high-caliber people to his Administration when he undercuts and humiliates those he supposedly respects.
“Whenever Tillerson’s successor goes into meetings with foreign leaders, his credibility will be diminished as someone who could be here today and gone tomorrow. Continuity in our diplomatic personnel and policies are vital for championing American security, values, and interests.
“Tillerson’s successor must approach the grave threat of Russian foreign aggression with the seriousness and urgency that it demands. As Director Pompeo has stated, he has ‘every expectation’ Russia will attack our democracy again. America must be ready.”
Pelosi who is dumber than dirt is showing early signs of dementia. She still cannot accept that Donald J. Trump is President of the United States. As such, President Trump gets to choose whom he hires and fires as his cabinet members.
Perhaps President Trump also has been reading about the goings-on at Exxon. It is turning out that former CEO Tillerson mad some pretty bad decisions there, and his replacement is having to write off some huge dollar amounts on those Tillerson mistakes.
It's always the Democrat attack comments that get published.
And Pelosi plays no role in Cabinet confirmations; why is she commenting? Where is Schumer?

When do we start using words like treasonous? The outright disrespectful nature of the Left is just disgraceful.
Maybe she could encourage the Senate to approve the three Ambassadors that have been hung up for over a year. Rick Grenell, as Germany's Ambassador, why the hold up on him, because he is a conservative homosexual? Also do not have Ambassadors for South Korea or Turkey.
So if "diplomatic personnel" are sooooo important, get them in their positions. Anybody have Corker as their Senator, tell him to get off his ass as Foreign Intelligence Chairman and get the Ambassadors approved and now our new SOS and our newly appointed CIA chief, a woman.

Nancy is probably in the early stages of some type of dementia - because this is only the latest in a series of really bizarre statements. Either that, or she’s on one or more drugs (legal or otherwise) that have seriously affected her mind.
Oh, and just so that no one here has any doubts, I have absolutely full confidence in Donald Trump’s ability to pick good people for various jobs in his administration. Will he ever make a mistake in this? Yes, of course - no one is perfect, or has any knowledge of what the future will bring. But 45 or so years making decisions that took him from $1 million in debt to multi-billionaire status is nothing to sneeze at. You want to see people that have poor decision-making abilities, just look to those who underestimate this man.
She sure seems to be a little too upset over this, makes me think Tillerson just might have been up to no good with regards to the National Socialist Workers Party Members.

This ridiculous statement by Pelosi confirms President Trump is correct in making this change.

was out as consigliere because he needed a ‘War Time’ consigliere. Who better as a War Time consigliere than Pompeo, a West Point Grad, Director of the CIA, and a Trump supporter? Nancy Pelosi is an old fool. She will be gone soon and wants to be remembered..

That’s a great analogy. A good leader has to hire and fire according to the needs at the moment. Tom Hagen was a good family attorney but he didn’t have that Sicilian spark necessary when it was time to go to the mattresses.
If anyone should be humiliated, it should be Pelosi for saying this clap trap.

Why, yes she did saying Tillerson was buddy buddy with Putin, and that indicated Trump was colluding with Russia and Putin.
