No good reason for Sen. Warren to avoid a DNA test
Chicago Tribune ^ | 3/13/2018 | John Kass

Isn’t it delicious that Fauxcahontas, aka Sen. Elizabeth Warren — the liberal Massachusetts Democrat toying with a 2020 presidential run — is refusing to take a DNA test to finally prove whether her self-serving claims of Cherokee heritage are true?

Actually, watching Warren squirm and Chuck Todd all but flagellate himself for having to ask about the DNA test on “Meet the Press” was more than delicious.

It was tasty, kind of like a French omelet with crab meat at a fancy restaurant frequented by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.

"I know who I am, and never used it for anything. Never got any benefit from it anywhere,” Warren said, protesting too much.

Oh, no, of course not.

She just claimed Native American status while teaching law at Harvard, and Harvard flaunted it as proof of faculty diversity. It’s all about checking the right racial boxes.

And until she takes that DNA test — or releases the findings to show that she is indeed part Cherokee — it will dog her, like some rogue beast of liberal Democratic identity politics, trotting behind her wherever she goes.

The liberal Democratic Media Complex does not love this story. But Warren’s DNA drama gets to the heart of the thing.

Democrats are thoroughly dominated by the hard left now, and except for bizarre socialist economics drawn from “The Big Rock Candy Mountain,” they’re all about identity politics all the time.

The Democratic Party is hip-deep in the politics of race and gender, and uses these as tools to carve and parcel out power, resources and benefits, relying on skin pigments and chromosomes (or the lack thereof), grievance and victimhood.

Identity politics has been the left’s recipe for years, and watching Warren squirm was just

Oh absolutely! She’d be screaming it from rooftops and gotten the results blown up to poster size & laminated.

She’s a fraud.

I have to come to her defense on this. The one “good reason” for not submitting a DNA test result is for privacy. Slippery slope. If she caves on this then everyone’s will be put out the for public scrutiny.

“Cultural appropriation, often framed as cultural misappropriation, is a concept in sociology dealing with the adoption of the elements of a minority culture by members of the dominant culture.”

She stole a spot from a minority. Such a hypocrite.

Frankly I am shocked she is doubling down on this crap.

Fauxcahontas only doubles-down as far as her Massachusetts constituents allow. And they allow her to go *deep*.

Whether that can play on the national stage is another story.

That’s exactly what needs to be discussed here.

Absolutely no one would care what her ancestry is or what ancestry she claims if it weren’t for the fact that the US engages in RACISM by promoting some groups at the expense of others.

Unfortunately for her she's a public figure - and a politician seeking higher office to boot - and is thus not immune from sliding down that slope.

So, as a politician, Trump should have passed his tax records out to the voters?

Were does “public figure” end? At the school board level? The used car dealer who advertises on tv? The kid who’s lemonaid stand gets into the local newspaper?

It should be “indigenous” peoples. Native meaning they were here first. My tribal friends do get a bit uptight when they’re referred to as “Native Americans”. They prefer to be called by their tribal name.

Who doesn’t think she took a DNA test the minute she was challenged on her fraudulent heritage claims? Of course she did, in an attempt to deflect the harsh attack. If she had any Native American genes we would have heard about it to the four winds from every mountain top.

Bet she did one.

And flunked.

Someone should ask her if she’s taken one already.

Warren should simply explain that a DNA test will anger her ancestral native American spirit gods as a desecration of the blood line, or something.

I guess that does indicate she is giving up on “the national” level.

It obvious Fauxcahontas has taken the test and failed...

Her “Mom and Daddy” love story was designed to appeal to real Indiansn - to evoke pity for shared victim-hood. And to convince her followers that even if it was a lie - - it was a noble & romantic lie.

It's almost believable... almost - - soooooo close ... no cigar.

Fauxcahontas is an arrogant liberal imbibing her echo chamber's firewater and breathing its fumes. Lacking any accurate and truthful feedback, she sees the smoke signals coming from the media illuminati and believes she has the calling to run and beat the evil white man Trump.

Um, no...

Only those who claim / insist that they are members of "protected groups" and whose physical appearance casts doubts upon that will be "pressured."

There sure IS good reason for her to avoid a DNA test: because she is a fake, phoney, fraud.

This is a blog written by a Native American genealogist, who has looked deeply into Senator Fauxcahontas’ family history: http://www.pollysgranddaughter.com/p/elizabeth-warren-information.html

Money quote (written while she was running for Senate in 2012): “Elizabeth Warren is a candidate for the U.S. Senate from the state of Massachusetts. She claims she is of Cherokee descent. She has come under fire for possibly using that claim to give her career a boost at a time when Harvard Law was under pressure to hire more minority professors. We have done extensive research on her ancestry and on the stories she has told trying to back up her claim. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest she actually had a Cherokee or American Indian ancestor. Despite repeated requests for her to release her personnel records from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Law School, she refuses to do so.”
