The movie is actually very good. It was 30% over before I recognized the well known actress playing her evil mom. You should see it. It’s not easy to watch. Great acting.
Luke’s momma is cute. I like how she surprised her son in L.A.

My husband and I are both cringing at Maddie’s second performance.

I voted for her though, based on previous performances. I know she can do better.
She took a risk to go all heart instead of show stopper. To me it was a heartfelt tribute to her mom, win or lose. That said go Maddie. You are real
