- Will Ice-8 keep my soft drink cooler?
- What happens when Ice-8 warms in the absence of a restraining diamond. Will it expand causing my soft drink to overflow?
- Can it be weaponized?
- What happens if you shoot a laser through it?

In ice-VII these atoms are arranged in a cubic shape.
Normally this is only done in a laboratory.

Maybe it will turn into Ice-nine and be solid at room temp. We could mix it with regular water, like the ocean and see what happens. What could go wrong?

“not known”
Sounds like it is know, it just had not previously been found to occur naturally.
Once again the press confounds the truth with language.
Sort of like calling semi-automatics machine guns.
