Men don’t get routine medical tests as frequently as women, right?
They used to get PSA tests frequently, but then the powers that be decided that they didnt want to scare men unnecessarily, so they arent paid for by health insurance anymore, so men dont get them as often. A relative in Britain, whose father died of prostate cancer, was told by the NHS that he didnt need PSA screening. This relative is 66 and doesnt know whether or not to fight for the tests, as the NHS wont pay for it anymore. And Britons are conditioned to believe if the NHS says you dont need it and they arent going to pay for it, then you must not really need it.
