We pulled the trigger this morning, and our 8x12 Greenhouse should be here by March 20th! It may not be assembled in time to use it this spring, but I'll be able to extend the fall season, for sure. We need to put in a 'pad' for it, and the flooring will be silo staves (we have eleventy-thousand of those) and we already have metal fencing panels that we can make into the shelving. Another dream coming true, thanks to Mr. Wonderful!

That’s really nice - I’m not familiar with silo staves. I slept in this morning, and when I woke up and checked the greenhouse, it was already 104 degrees. Had to open the door, since hubby hasn’t yet fixed the window.

I have to do office work today, but I really enjoyed the sunshine and heat coming into the room from the greenhouse.
I think hubby will have my new raised bed done this weekend, so I may go ahead and plant some lettuce in the ground under a row cover or something to save transplant effort.

Usually I would be taking the row cover off of a winter grown lettuce this time of year, but I didn’t plant one last fall due to the planned redesign of that area.

That is so CUTE! I was thinking hard about getting a very small one for hubby ... but we are both horrible with assembling things. Well, that and our garden fence needs replacing this spring - no more putting that off after yesterdays snow. So, fence first. I am jealous though.
