Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner announced that archeological investigations found a 7,000-year-old Native American ancestral burial site in the Gulf of Mexico near Venice.

But..but...but the Native Amercanos didn't drive SUV's or fly their biz jets around willy nilly then did they? Global warming raised the sea level, how, why?

The Manasota Key Offshore (MKO) site is reportedly unprecedented and is located on the continental shelf in offshore waters, preserved in what appears to have been a peat-bottomed freshwater pond thousands of years ago.

That means sea levels were very far below where they are today. Those people must have had a lot of SUV's............................

Wow they had global warming 60 years ago. I wonder what fossil fuels they were burning then? Actually Florida has been underwater repeatedly. We find spear points, manatee bones, and shark teeth i our creek beds.

We have been aware of this site for a while now, with preliminary investigations done. Just couldn’t say anything.

I’m guessing from just that section of map one could make an estimate on how much percent of water was not in the oceans but locked up in the ice. Then - take that same percentage of rain water and lock that up in the ice.

These idiot tree huggers talk about global warming and droughts. It was a lot drier when the earth was cold. And my bet is that we are due for another, mile-thick ice over Chicago type cooling event, based on the previous cycles of warming and cooling.
