corrosion, or bending around the edges, the easy thing to do, look at a new ring, and an older ring, if the only difference is the color (because of use and age) then it’s good to go with. Hope that helps

I put my beans and spices in jars and freeze them and just keep them there.
They’ll come out if the the grid ever comes down.
How long to you heat them in the oven and what temp to drive off the moisture?

I sure appreciate your alerting us to the value of prepper situations around the world as they come up.
I find it amusing that some poeple are so anti-prepper and yet less than a hundred years ago, if people weren’t prepped for bad weather or whatever, they were considered fools.
It was a lifestyle for most of human history because they knew that their survival depended on themselves only.

into another valiant but futile attempt to download every recipe off the Internet, though.
I am just laughing and laughing.
Thank you.

So a color change isn’t necessarily a bad thing then?
I’ve been contemplating putting them in mylar or food saver bags.

Hi Dolly! I’ve missed you as well.
Well, maybe we can make your off-the-grid lifestyle seem more appealing to you, since we are striving for what you have perfected.
I’m sure you’ll have a wealth of information to share.
