I put my beans and spices in jars and freeze them and just keep them there.
They’ll come out if the the grid ever comes down.

I did this dry canning right off, before I had a pressure canner or vacuum sealer or even heard of oxygen absorbers. It made me feel successful enough to move onto the more expensive methods.
