We have been in this restaurant/bar for over an hour. They’re playing classic rock, mostly ‘70s. Their music service has yet to play a single woman’s voice - not even a duet. Not even *backup*. #JustNoticing
“We’ve got a channel for everyone.”
So I guess you’ll have to flip to the all-women channel.
She needs better acquaintances if she is out for dinner and complaining about the music. She must be the type that stares at the phone thru the whole dinner.
If she was in a man cave there would be lots of female singing. Dudes love to hear women sing.
During a strike, as management, I was asked to perform control room duties on a morning radio show. The music was selected by the on-air talent. After 2 weeks, I made the simple observation to him that there wasn't a single black recording in two weeks. The very next morning, ALL the music (pop/rock) for the entire 3-hr show was by black artists...every single tune.
Conclusion: My off-handed assessment was correct by virtue of his extreme response, plus, more importantly, I learned that the leftist host was a juvenile moron.
True that. I love female voices. I have a Female Vocalists playlist with all my faves.
I was on a road trip yesterday and was listening to Bing Crosby and Johnny Cash. Could those guys sing!
The music I listen to a lot is jazz from the ‘50’s and 60’s. The voices I like the most are guitars, tenor saxes, Hammond B-3 organs, acoustic basses and trumpet. I’m also into the blues. Aside from Shemekiah Copeland, my favorite blues vocals come from John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters. Equality is music is for fags who love “American Idol” and “The Voice”.
Getting offended for the sake of getting offended for fun and profit. It’s like emotional meth. She no doubt had a temporary feeling of moral superiority and empowerment. But once that high wears off the need for the next fix becomes progressively more insatiable. What a pathetic self destructive way to go through life.

Yeah... there weren’t many women rockers in the 1970s. Even Heart was mostly folk music.

We had a family birthday dinner at a nice little Italian restaurant yesterday, and the only voice over the background sound system was Frank Sinatra’s.
