WATCH: Major Road Rage Incident in San Diego

The CHP is investigating a bizarre road rage incident in the North County. Cell phone video shows a man out of his car arguing with a driver inside an SUV in the fast lane of Highway 78. At one point, the man spits into the car and starts walking back to his car. The SUV then starts to move towards the man and clips the backside of a car causing the SUV to flip over on its side, while the man drives away. It's unclear what sparked the violence, but the CHP wants to talk to those involved.

My personality cannot handle traffic. So, ever since I figured that out, I’ve had no commute or a very limited one. Live close to where I work...Only drive in traffic when it is my choice.

YEs, it’s true some people just can’t handle traffic. It’s a commendable thing when someone recognizes that and takes steps to limit or eliminate such drives in their lives, for the sake of themselves and everyone around them.

It’s people like in the OP who won’t admit it about themselves that eventually lead to situations like in the video.

Some people just shouldn’t be commuting long distances regularly, it’s just that simple. They need to find another job or something. We who drive such drives would appreciate it if there were more like you who could admit that about themselves. Sure would make life easier.

I made a saying a while back. It’s easier for me to change my environment than it is for me to change my circumstances.

When I do choose to drive in horrible Western Washington traffic in the Tacoma/Seattle area, I marvel at it all and wonder why people do that to themselves every single day.

The accent. To try to avoid stepping on ethnic or religious toes here, I grew up in the '60s in a neighborhood with other descendants of several hundred years of Americans. That phrase was forbidden. We only heard that from a very few people who had moved all the way down from northeastern states. We shunned them. They were drunks. Their kids were drug addicts.
