He’s absolutely amazing. There’s a show with him and 3 more old fogies traveling around to different weird places....hysterical.

Back in the 70’s I thought he sounded terribly narcissistic in his interviews. They made me feel uncomfortable for him.

But at his current age it really could work marvelously. I’ve always liked him and just found out he lives near me. I should stop by...

You are thinking of Robert Blake. He was charged and acquitted, I believe. Shatner was never even arrested.

He has a work ethic that is absolutely inspirational.

From what I understand he *still* rides horses (and I mean serious riding) and keeps his judo chops up!

And takes darn near every job he can. A guy worth $300 million and he’s working his tail off at 86 (and no, he didn’t make that huge killing on Priceline stock that was claimed).

Poor William. He needs the forgiveness that only Jesus can give him. I sure hope he repents before his death.

It was Robert Blake-from the “Barretta” series who was acquitted of his wife’s murder-but there was a lot of talk awhile back about Shatner offing a gold digger druggie wife-she drowned in the backyard pool under weird circumstances, but there was apparently not enough evidence to charge him-my guy-an LEO-believes Shatner did get rid of the wife, like Blake got rid of his.

We've been together for so very long
But now things are changing, oh I wonder what's wrong?
Seems you don't want me around
The passion is gone and the flame's died down..

right.

Robert Blake was the Baretta guy with the bird, my bad.

Mar 16, 2005 - LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — Four years of a real-life crime story ended Wednesday for actor Robert Blake, the star of “In Cold Blood” and “Baretta,” when a California jury acquitted him of murder in the 2001 slaying of his wife. Blake, 71, met the verdicts with sobs and embraced his lawyer after the ...”

So Captain Kirk cap’d his wife?

missed that.

I’ve watched all the BLTN shows. I find them hilarious. You’re right he does seem young. And it’s amazing some of the bizarre food he’s eaten in far off lands.

Kirk and Sulu were the two weakest links of the regulars on TOS....I'm not at all impressed with anything Shatner’s ever done.
