During the latest news show, the Fox station in Miami reported that Cruz was a member of a white supremacist group. No name was given, but the reporters said a "White supremacist leader" verified that Cruz was part of his group.
By the names and the photos so far..they all appear to be white.
Even Peter Wang?

According to one version, Cruz was "associated" with the group and trained with them on occasion.
He was a guy who carpooled up from South Florida with other like-minded enthusiasts.
In headlines this becomes he was a "member." That implies a different status.
But Jordan Jereb, the leader, says he didn't personally know the guy.
How big was the group, the Republic of Florida, anyway?
Would there really be people who the head knew of, but didn't know?
I can believe that Cruz went to gun-ranges, but was he really enough of a joiner to spend hours driving across the state in a car full of other nutcases?
And the girl and the broken heart: how likely is it that that story was true, or that he'd share it with others he trained with?
I was wondering- never heard of a militia called “Republic of Florida” but then I don’t follow these “groups” if there’s less than a dozen members and they meet in someone’s basement on Thursdays for beer and chips and genuflecting to Hitler posters.

I was wondering how the leader could not have met him, how big a crowd was there that they could avoid each other on an “exercise”... even popular paintball groups aren’t all that big.
Update 3:50 p.m. Local law enforcement sources have so far not found a connection between accused Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz and a Tallahassee-based paramilitary group. Leon County law enforcement sources told the Tallahassee Democrat that they could not find information linking Cruz, 19, to the Republic of Florida Militia, as first reported by the group’s self-proclaimed leader Jordan Jereb.
That’s no surprise at all!
